DeLong For Nevada Newsletter February 2026

Happy New Year to all! With the start of 2026, the newsletter is back.

I held another Saturday morning coffee on January 24^th at the Raley’s Markey on Wedge Parkway, in their community room. There was a great turnout and we had good discussions for over an hour. My next coffee will be in late February at 9:00am at the same location. I will be sending a separate text announcement closer to the date. Hope to see you there. I looking forward to talking with more of you as we move into the 2026 campaign season.

One of the main issues discussed at the morning coffee was road and traffic safety. Electric bikes of all types were discussed. Constituents are concerned that a number of the rides do not follow traffic laws. The other main issues was drives running red lights and not otherwise following traffic laws.

We are now about five weeks away from the beginning of candidate filings and four months away from the state’s primary election in June. I appreciate everyone’s support in the last campaign and hope you are all willing to support me again. If you will put a sign in your yard, make calls, or walk neighborhoods, please let me know through the contact page on my website (DeLongForNevada.com).
