Hello Friends,

As we head into the holiday season with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, and New Year’s, I

wish everyone a blessed rest of the year.

This past weekend on November 1 st , the Nevada Day parade brought out tens of thousands of

people to Carson City. We had amazing weather for the event! It was a great turnout and a very

positive event. I want to again thank everyone that showed up and walked with us in the

parade.

Also, next week we have November 11 th , Veterans Day. On that day and every day, we need to

remember our veterans and the measure they gave for us in the United States to have the

blessings of freedom that we do have. We should never forget that all gave some and some

gave all. For almost 100 years we have celebrated November 11 th , first as Armistice Day to

honor the end of the Great War (World War 1) on the 11 th hour of the 11 th day of the 11 th

month, 1918 and then in the 1950s as Veterans Day.

Interim committee assignments were completed in late October. I am sitting on the Tahoe

Regional Planning Agency and Marlette Lake Water System Oversight Committee, the Natural

Resources Committee, the Public Lands Committee, and the Cybersecurity Committee.

I will be holding another Saturday morning coffee on November 8 th at 9:00am at the Tahoe

Natural Café, which is at the corner of Steamboat Parkway and Veterans Parkway. I will be

sending out separate email/text closer to that date. Hope to see you there.

I am also starting my fundraising for this election cycle with events in December and January.

We are four months away from candidate filings and seven months away from the state’s

primary election in June. I appreciate everyone’s support in the last campaign and hope you are all willing to support me again. If you will put a sign in your yard, make calls, or walk

neighborhoods, please let me know through the contact page on my website

I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and comments on the newsletters during the

session and in the interim. They were very helpful and kept me going.

This is my last newsletter for 2025, as the newsletter will be taking the month of December off.
